What is Moosend?
Moosend was built in Athens by Panos Melissaropoulos and Yannis Psarras, but registered in London on 30 October 2012 under another name entirely: JustDot Ltd, which became Moosend Ltd only in July 2015. Sitecore bought it in May 2021, then sold it on to Constant Contact in June 2025, and it still white-labels as Sitecore Send.
The plumbing carries a second ghost name. Mail leaves through smtp.mailendo.com and authenticates against spfa.mailendo.com — Mailendo Ltd was a separate company of Melissaropoulos’s, dissolved in 2016, whose domain still carries every message Moosend sends.
