How much does Selzy cost in 2026?

Last verified Aug 27, 2026

Selzy sells email two different ways on the same page. The first is a conventional contact-based subscription with unlimited sending, in two tiers. The second is a prepaid credit package priced per email, with no limit on contact list size at all. Which one is cheaper depends entirely on how often you mail, and the difference between them is large. This page reproduces the contact ladder in full, separates the promotional prices from the list prices, and explains where the package model takes over.

Every figure below was read from selzy.com/en/prices on 24 August 2026, with each of the contact tiers read individually from the live calculator.

Read the discount before you read the price. Selzy’s pricing page currently displays a promotional rate under the banner “Enjoy Selzy with 30% off for 12 months”, with the list price struck through beside it. Every figure the calculator shows is the promotional one. The tables below give both, because the promotional price expires after twelve months and the list price is what you renew at. At 30,000 contacts on Lite, that is the difference between €94.50 and €135 a month.

A note on currency. Selzy’s calculator is geolocated and served us euros. The platform also publishes other currencies through the same page. Check the figure for your own region rather than converting these.

What the curve does

Selzy’s contact curve is one of the steepest on this site, and it keeps falling rather than flattening early.

ContactsLite promo per 1,000 contactsReading
100€52.50A floor price, not a volume price
500€10.50Same €5.25 bill, five times the contacts
2,000€5.25
10,000€4.20
50,000€2.87Still falling steadily
200,000€1.85
500,000€1.54Among the cheapest per contact on this site

The 100-contact tier is a trap worth avoiding. Lite costs the same €5.25 a month at 100 contacts and at 500. If your list is under 500 you are paying five times the unit rate for no reason, and Selzy’s free plan already covers 100 contacts. Either stay free or grow into the 500 tier; there is nothing to buy in between.

At the top the curve is genuinely competitive. €1.54 per thousand contacts at 500,000 undercuts most of the contact-priced platforms covered on this site, and unlike several of them the discount is still improving at the ceiling rather than having flattened out at 25,000 or 50,000.

The other model: prepaid packages with unlimited contacts

Below the subscription cards, Selzy sells the same product on an entirely different basis. You buy a block of email credits and the contact list ceases to matter.

Package price€1,610

Selzy’s headline on this section is “Buy more, pay less: save up to 88%”, so the 68% we read at a million emails is not the deepest tier available. We were able to read one point on that calculator reliably and have not published the rest rather than estimate it.

The two models suit opposite shapes of business, and the crossover is sharp. A 100,000-contact list mailed four times a month is 400,000 emails. On the subscription that costs €224 a month promotional, or €320 at list price. On packages at €0.0016 an email it is about €640. The subscription wins clearly. Now flip it: a 500,000-contact list mailed once a quarter is about 167,000 emails a month, which costs €770 promotional on subscription and roughly €267 on packages. Rarely-mailed large lists belong on packages; frequently-mailed lists belong on the subscription. One caveat on that arithmetic: €0.0016 is the rate we read at the 1,000,000-email package, and package rates improve with volume, so a smaller package will cost more per email and the crossover will sit further out than these figures suggest. Price your actual volume on Selzy’s calculator before switching models.

The unlimited contact list size is the part that matters structurally. Every other contact-priced platform on this site charges rent on people who are sitting still. Selzy will sell you a way not to, which is unusual and worth knowing about even if you end up on the subscription.

Lite, Standard, and what separates them

Standard costs roughly double Lite at small sizes and about 1.4 to 1.5 times at large ones, €10.50 against €5.25 at 500 contacts, but €770 against €1,155 at 500,000, where the gap narrows to 1.5x. Selzy’s own summary is that Standard adds “a deliverability boost, and lifetime access to the Email Marketing 101 course” on top of all core features.

Feature areaWhat is in it
CoreBulk emails, email builder, AI assistant, AI text and image generation, personalisation, analytics, 24/7 support, subscription forms, automation, templates, image storage, send time optimisation, A/B testing, segmentation, shareable email URLs, removal of Selzy branding
Email quality checkerAnti-spam tips, email size check, authentication check, deliverability tips, subject line assistant
ChatbotsTelegram chatbots
Lifetime accessOnline email marketing course and certification

“No Selzy branding” appears as a feature, which means it is not universal. Selzy lists branding removal among the features its comparison table gates by plan, so the free tier and possibly Lite carry a Selzy footer on outgoing email. If unbranded email matters, and for most businesses it does, confirm which tier removes it before choosing, because the page presents it as a line item rather than a given.

Two further things stand out in that feature list. AI text and image generation is included in the core set rather than sold as an add-on, which is not the norm: several platforms covered here meter AI usage separately. And Telegram chatbots are an unusual inclusion that points at Selzy’s origins and its strength in markets where Telegram is a primary channel.

The free plan and the trial

 Free plan14-day trial
Contacts1002,000
Emails1,000 a month10,000 over the trial
Time limitNone14 days

Selzy offers both, which is unusual, most platforms on this site offer one or the other. The free plan is permanent but very small at 100 contacts; the trial is twenty times larger on contacts and ten times on sending, but expires. The sensible sequence is to trial at real scale, then fall back to free if you are not ready, then buy into the 500-contact tier rather than the 100-contact one.

Six things that catch people out

  1. Every price on the page is a promotional price. The banner offers 30% off for twelve months; the struck-through figure beside it is what you renew at.
  2. The 100-contact tier costs the same as the 500-contact tier. Under 500 contacts you are paying five times the unit rate for nothing.
  3. There are two pricing models on one page, and the cheaper one depends on your sending frequency rather than your list size.
  4. Package rates improve with package size, so the headline per-email rate is the deepest tier and not what a small package costs.
  5. Branding removal is a gated feature, which means at least the free tier sends with a Selzy footer.
  6. Enterprise starts at 500,000 contacts, so the self-serve ladder ends precisely where several competitors are still publishing prices.

Who Selzy is priced for

Selzy is priced to win on absolute cost at scale and to be flexible about how you get there. At 500,000 contacts, €1.54 per thousand on the promotional rate is at the cheap end of everything covered on this site, and the volume discount is still deepening at the top of the ladder rather than having flattened out in the middle. The dual model adds a genuine option that most competitors do not offer.

What it asks in return is that you read carefully. Two pricing models, a promotional rate that expires, a feature list where branding removal is a line item, and an entry tier that is worse value than the tier above it all reward attention. None of it is hidden, but none of it is obvious at a glance either.

Good fit: large lists at 100,000 contacts and above, where the per-contact rate is genuinely competitive; businesses with big, infrequently-mailed databases, who should look hard at the package model; teams that want AI generation and quality checking included rather than metered; anyone operating where Telegram is a live channel.

Poor fit: lists under 500 contacts, who should stay on the free plan; buyers who want one price and one model without arithmetic; anyone who needs certainty about the renewal figure, since the displayed price is promotional; accounts above 500,000 contacts wanting a published price rather than a sales conversation.

How to size Selzy in four steps

  1. Work out your monthly email volume, not just your list size. That single number decides whether the subscription or the package model is cheaper, and the gap between them can be more than double.
  2. Read the struck-through price, not the big one. Budget on the list price and treat the first twelve months as a discount you happen to be getting.
  3. If your list is under 500, do not buy anything. The free plan covers 100 contacts and the paid tier costs the same at 100 as at 500.
  4. Decide whether you need Standard. It roughly doubles the bill at small sizes for a deliverability boost and a course; at large sizes the multiple falls to about 1.5, which changes the calculation.

Frequently asked questions

How much does Selzy cost?

The contact-based subscription runs from €5.25 a month promotional (€7.50 list) for up to 500 contacts on Lite, to €770 promotional (€1,100 list) for 500,000 contacts. Standard is roughly double Lite at small sizes and about 1.5 times at large ones. Sample Lite promotional points: €21 at 5,000 contacts, €42 at 10,000, €143.50 at 50,000 and €224 at 100,000. All plans include unlimited email sending. Above 500,000 contacts Selzy quotes an Enterprise price.

Are the prices on Selzy’s pricing page the real prices?

They are promotional. Selzy currently runs a banner offering “30% off for 12 months”, and every figure the calculator displays is the discounted one, with the list price struck through alongside. The relationship is exact: the promotional price is 70% of list. So Lite at 30,000 contacts shows €94.50 a month but renews at €135. Budget on the list price and treat the first year as a discount.

What is the difference between Selzy’s subscription and its packages?

The subscription charges for contacts and gives unlimited sending. The packages charge for emails and give an unlimited contact list. Which is cheaper depends on how often you mail. A 100,000-contact list mailed four times a month costs about €224 on subscription against roughly €640 on packages, so the subscription wins. A 500,000-contact list mailed once a quarter costs €770 on subscription against roughly €267 on packages. Note that package rates improve with package size, so smaller packages cost more per email than the headline rate.

Does Selzy really offer unlimited emails?

On the contact-based plans, yes, the pricing page states “Pay for contact list size, send unlimited emails”, and there is no send allowance attached to any tier of the ladder. That is a stronger promise than Drip, whose unlimited stops around 30,000 subscribers, or Omnisend, which reserves it for the Pro tier. The trade-off is that the packages model works the other way round: unlimited contacts, metered email.

What does a package cost per email?

At the 1,000,000-email package we read €1,610, which works out at €0.0016 per email against a list rate of €0.005, a stated saving of 68%. Selzy’s headline for the section is “save up to 88%”, so deeper tiers exist above that volume. Because the rate improves with size, a smaller package will cost meaningfully more per email, and we have not published estimates for volumes we did not read directly.

Is there a free plan or a trial?

Both, which is unusual. The free plan is permanent and allows 1,000 emails a month to 100 contacts. The 14-day trial is much larger: 10,000 emails to 2,000 contacts. The sensible order is to trial at realistic scale first, drop back to free if you are not ready to commit, and then buy in at the 500-contact tier rather than the 100-contact one.

Why does 100 contacts cost the same as 500?

Because Lite’s first tier covers everything up to 500 contacts at one price, currently €5.25 a month promotional. At 100 contacts that is €52.50 per thousand contacts; at 500 it is €10.50. Since Selzy’s free plan already covers 100 contacts, there is nothing worth buying below 500, either stay free or grow into the tier you are already paying for.

What does Standard add over Lite?

Selzy’s own summary is “all core features, a deliverability boost, and lifetime access to the Email Marketing 101 course”. The core feature set on both includes the email builder, AI text and image generation, personalisation, analytics, 24/7 support, automation, templates, send time optimisation, A/B testing, segmentation and the email quality checker. The price multiple is the thing to watch: Standard is twice Lite at 500 contacts but only about 1.5 times at 500,000.

Does Selzy put its branding on my emails?

On at least some tiers, yes. “No Selzy branding” appears as a gated line item in the plan comparison rather than as a universal feature, which means the free tier sends with a Selzy footer and you should confirm whether Lite does too before committing. Most platforms treat this the same way, but it is worth verifying rather than assuming, since unbranded email is usually non-negotiable for a business.

What happens above 500,000 contacts?

You leave self-serve. Selzy’s Enterprise card covers “500k+ contacts” and offers a dedicated manager, a performance boost and unspecified additional features, with pricing described only as “Custom”. That ceiling is lower than several competitors covered here, which publish prices well beyond half a million contacts, so plan for a sales conversation if you are approaching it.

Pricing is one part of the evaluation. For connection details, authentication, deliverability behaviour and integration specifics, see the SMTP settings, API and integrations tabs on this platform. The alternatives tab compares Selzy against the other unlimited-sending platforms and against the providers that price per email rather than per contact.

Sources. All figures were read from selzy.com/en/prices on 24 August 2026, in euros as served to us, with each contact tier read individually from the live calculator rather than interpolated. List prices are our own arithmetic from the struck-through annual figures, which run at exactly 100/70 of the promotional prices; cost-per-thousand figures are likewise ours. The package figure is a single reading at the 1,000,000-email volume. Prices change; where a figure here disagrees with the vendor’s page, the vendor’s page is correct and we would be glad to be told.
