Transactional email service

How much does Mailjet cost in 2026?

Mailjet pricing

Mailjet uses per-email pricing (not per-contact) with unlimited contacts on every tier — a distinctive model for a marketing ESP. The Free plan is unusually generous: 6,000 emails/month plus a hard 200/day cap, and SMTP is included. Paid tiers lift the daily cap and add features (removing the Mailjet logo, then adding automation, segmentation, A/B testing, sub-accounts).

Plans and starting price

PlanMonthly price (USD)Emails / monthNotable
Free$06,000 (200/day cap)Unlimited contacts, SMTP + API + UI, Mailjet logo on emails
Essential$1515,000No daily cap, no Mailjet logo, online support
Premium$2515,000Essential + automation, segmentation, A/B testing, sub-accounts
CustomQuote900k+Dedicated IP, SLA, priority support, migration help
Unlimited contacts on every plan. You are metered on sends, not list size. Growing your list does not raise your bill until send volume grows with it. This is the opposite of Klaviyo, ActiveCampaign or Kit, which price on contacts.

What's always included

  • Full SMTP relay (in-v3.mailjet.com, port 587/465)
  • REST API v3 + Send API v3.1, all 7 official SDKs
  • Email builder, template library, drag-and-drop editor
  • Real-time statistics, event webhooks (open, click, bounce, spam)
  • SPF + DKIM domain authentication guidance
  • EU data residency, GDPR-first, ISO 27001

Add-ons

Dedicated IP ($15–$60/mo depending on volume) is offered on Premium and Custom. Inbox preview and email spam-testing are add-ons on Essential, included in Premium. SMS and voice via Sinch group are billed separately.

What to watch

Free plan's 200/day cap can bite for transactional workloads with traffic spikes. If password resets, order confirmations or double-opt-ins concentrate at certain hours, upgrade to Essential to remove the cap.
