GetResponse features: what you get on each plan

Last verified Aug 27, 2026
Feature TL;DR (August 2026)
GetResponse covers 22 of the 27 features we test on a self-serve plan, and one number decides the whole grid: the Starter plan allows exactly one custom automation workflow, capped at six elements. Unlimited automation starts at Marketer, $59 per month billed monthly. SMS and transactional email sit on Enterprise alone, which is unusually high for a platform at this price. Sources consulted 27 August 2026: the vendor pricing page and the GetResponse help centre.

What the plan column means here

GetResponse sells breadth at the bottom and depth in the middle. Starter gives unlimited sends, unlimited landing pages, forms, popups and a custom domain, which reads generous until you reach automation: one workflow, six elements. That is not a soft cap you grow into, it is a demonstration licence, and both vendor surfaces state it in the same words. Anyone who bought Starter to automate anything will be on Marketer within a month.

Creator is not a bigger Marketer. It adds the website builder, webinars capped at 100 attendees with three hours of recording, courses up to 500 students and paid newsletters. If none of those matter, Marketer is the ceiling of the self-serve range.

SMS marketing, mobile push and transactional email are all Enterprise, and Enterprise is quote-only. On most platforms at this price these sit two tiers lower. Treat GetResponse as an email, landing-page and webinar product, and budget separately if you need a second channel.
The free tier is permanent and separate from the 14-day trial of premium features. Free keeps 500 contacts, 2,500 newsletters a month, one landing page and a GetResponse badge on outgoing messages, and it cannot use the dynamic segment filter inside automation.
