turboSMTP features: what you get on each plan

Last verified Sep 14, 2026
Feature TL;DR (September 2026)
turboSMTP ships 13 of the 16 features we test, and the one line that should stop you is two-factor authentication: account security is not available below Pro, at €79.95/mo. Webhooks sit behind the same gate. Everything an SMTP relay is judged on, including suppression handling and SPF with DKIM, is on the free plan.

Four plans carry features: Free, Basic at €14.95/mo, Pro at €79.95/mo and Enterprise. Every line below was read on 14 September 2026 against two sources that agree: the turboSMTP plan comparison at checkout, and the turboSMTP features page and knowledge base. Numbers are quoted as the editor publishes them.

The shape of this table is unusual. Most relays gate the sending features and give away the account plumbing; turboSMTP does the opposite. You can send, authenticate, track opens and clicks, manage bounces and unsubscribes and even build a campaign on the free plan. What you cannot do below Pro is secure the login, receive an event callback, or keep more than 30 days of history.

How to read this table

Two-factor authentication is the line that deserves an argument. A relay holds credentials that can send mail as your domain, and turboSMTP places the second factor on a plan that costs more than five times the entry tier. Every competitor we have measured treats login security as a property of the account, not of the invoice. If you are on Free or Basic, your sending identity is protected by a password alone.

The webhook gate has a practical shape. Lower plans get a 30-day demo rather than nothing, which is enough to build and test an integration but not to run one. Plan the migration to Pro before the demo expires, or you will discover the gap in production.

Retention is the gate people notice last. Basic keeps 30 days of analytics; Pro keeps 365. Anyone who needs to answer a question about a message sent last quarter needs Pro, independent of volume.

On the other side of the ledger, three things are genuinely free here that are not free elsewhere: suppression handling, click and open tracking, and a campaign builder. The one real absence is automation. There are no journeys and no drip sequences at any price, which is the honest boundary of a relay.
