SendX: Email marketing platform

Last verified Aug 27, 2026

SendX is an Email marketing platform founded in 2016, headquartered in India. Starting at $9.99/mo, it targets contact-billed senders working through one REST endpoint, who take SMTP from the sister product SendPost. Our verdict: One plan with every feature, unlimited sends from $9.99. Watch for: A 95-98% inbox claim nobody can check. Rated 6.6/10 overall across ease of use, deliverability, and pricing value.

What is SendX?

SendX was built in Bengaluru in 2016 by Varun Jain, Mayank Agarwal and Agnibha Nath, bootstrapped and incorporated in Delaware through Stripe Atlas. In 2021 the private equity firm Inturact Capital bought the SendWorks suite, and its managing partner Trevor Hatfield became CEO; the legal entity still trades as SendPost, LLC.

There is no SMTP relay. Everything, transactional mail included, goes through a single REST call to api.sendx.io carrying an X-Team-ApiKey header, and SMTP lives instead in the sister product SendPost, sold separately. Billing counts contacts rather than messages, with none of the monthly send multiplier Mailchimp applies at every tier.
