MessageGears advertises 250+ advertising, commerce, analytics and messaging tools, but the named, publicly documented list runs to about 30 entries, and the gap between those two numbers is the most useful thing a buyer can understand here. The 250+ figure is very largely endpoint reach inherited from one integration, LiveRamp, rather than a shelf of connectors MessageGears built and maintains. What MessageGears does build itself is the part that matters for its thesis: 7 warehouse and database connections queried live, in place, with no copy and no synchronisation job.
The 30 integrations below are every entry MessageGears names on its own integrations page, its channel destinations post, the warehouse connections page and the 2026 ecosystem expansion announcement. We have not padded the list to reach the advertised total: the remainder is not published by name. Read the 8 native entries as the product and the 22 official destinations as delivery targets, several of them, as the blurbs note, reached through LiveRamp.
The practical consequence: if your evaluation depends on a warehouse you already run, MessageGears is unusually strong, and the Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift and Databricks setup guides are concrete and first-party. If it depends on a long tail of SaaS connectors in the style of Mailchimp or Klaviyo, the shelf here is thin and you should price in integration work.
Native connection that queries your Snowflake tables in place, with no copy and no synchronisation step. This is the reference implementation of the model.
Native connection that activates audiences and customer data straight out of BigQuery. Segments resolve against the live dataset at send time.
Native Redshift connection that reads your cluster without moving or duplicating rows into a vendor-side profile store.
Lakehouse connection that carries machine-learning model output from analytics into marketing activation without an export loop.
Warehouse connection that activates customer data sitting in Azure analytics pipelines. Added to the source list in 2026.
Turns a Teradata Vantage estate into a marketing activation engine, querying it as the live source of truth.
Database source added to the ecosystem in 2026, aimed at teams running operational analytics on SingleStore.
Digital asset management wired in as a data source, so creative assets resolve from Bynder rather than from uploaded copies. Added in 2026.
First-party audience targeting across Google properties, built from segments resolved in your own warehouse.
Display targeting beyond Google-owned inventory, fed by the same warehouse-resolved segments used for email.
Supply-side audience targeting across the Google network for publishers monetising first-party data.
Custom audience activation using live warehouse data rather than a nightly export.
Audience activation across Facebook, Instagram and Threads from the same segment definitions.
Search and partner-network targeting across Bing, Yahoo and DuckDuckGo inventory.
TikTok audience targeting, reached through the LiveRamp connectivity layer rather than a direct MessageGears connector. Added as a destination in 2026.
Personalised content activation on Pinterest, delivered through LiveRamp rather than a first-party MessageGears connector.
Segment activation and list management on X, routed through the LiveRamp connectivity layer.
Professional audience targeting on LinkedIn, reached via LiveRamp and not via a native connector.
Identity and connectivity hub, and the single integration behind the advertised 250+ endpoint figure: most of that catalogue is LiveRamp reach, not MessageGears-built connectors.
Delivers segments and contextual data into S3 buckets feeding downstream BI and machine-learning pipelines.
Real-time audience file delivery into GCS for teams whose analytics stack sits on Google Cloud.
Secure upload of campaign audience files to Drive, for teams handing lists to agencies or partners. Added as a destination in 2026.
Direct audience export into Braze for journey orchestration on top of warehouse-resolved segments.
Segment and audience file delivery into Marketing Cloud, typically for teams running MessageGears alongside an incumbent suite.
Mobile and SMS audience synchronisation, relevant to estates that kept Airship after the Swrve acquisition.
Pushes dynamic segments into Shopify Plus so storefront merchandising follows the same audience logic as email.
Open-time adaptive content, so image and offer blocks resolve when the recipient opens rather than when the job is built.
Generative optimisation of campaign message copy, used for subject-line and body variant generation.
Translation and multilingual campaign management for teams sending across locales.
Email rendering tests and previews across clients, worth noting since MessageGears ships no A/B testing of its own.
MessageGears advertises 250+ advertising, commerce, analytics and messaging tools, but the list it publishes by name runs to about 30 entries. The larger number is very largely endpoint reach through LiveRamp, its identity and connectivity partner, rather than connectors MessageGears built and maintains itself. Treat the 250+ as addressable destinations and the named 30 as the supported, documented catalogue.
MessageGears queries your warehouse in place at send time instead of copying contacts into a vendor-side profile store and keeping them in sync. Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, Databricks, Azure, Teradata Vantage and SingleStore are all supported this way. The effects: no sync lag, no duplicated customer data outside your own perimeter, and segment logic that can use any column in your schema.
The eight data sources are native MessageGears connections with first-party setup guides. Of the advertising destinations, Google Customer Match, Display and Video 360, Ad Manager, Google Ads, Meta Custom Audiences and Microsoft Advertising are described as direct destinations, while TikTok, Pinterest, X and LinkedIn are reached through LiveRamp. That distinction matters for support escalation, since a LiveRamp-mediated destination adds a second vendor to the troubleshooting path.
No outbound webhook documentation exists on any official MessageGears page as of September 2026. There is no published event catalogue, no signing scheme and no retry policy. If your architecture depends on receiving delivery, bounce or engagement events by HTTP callback, treat it as an open question for sales engineering rather than an assumed capability.
There is no official MessageGears MCP server and no community wrapper in the Model Context Protocol registry as of September 2026. The SMTP relay uses standard authentication with an Account ID and API key, so a generic SMTP MCP server could technically connect, but MessageGears documents nothing of the kind. See the API and MCP tab at /platforms/messagegears/api/ for the full picture, including the state of the official SDKs.
A different shape, not a smaller version of the same thing. Mailchimp, Klaviyo and Brevo compete on hundreds of self-service SaaS connectors covering ecommerce, CRM, forms and support tooling. MessageGears competes on depth at the data layer and assumes your customer data already lives in a warehouse your team runs. Without a warehouse, most of what you would be paying for here does not apply.
