What is GoHighLevel?

GoHighLevel is not an email service provider; it resells one. LC Email, the sending built into every sub-account, runs on Mailgun infrastructure, and the SMTP credentials the platform hands its customers point at smtp.mailgun.org rather than at any GoHighLevel hostname.

The billing follows from that. HighLevel always charges the agency wallet for a sub-account’s usage, the agency recovers it from the client, and the right to add a markup on top is itself gated behind a plan tier. Agencies can also bypass LC Email entirely, wiring a different Mailgun, SendGrid or Amazon SES account into each client location through a four-level provider fallback.
